I also have a p8 lite 2017 (16GB) but only 7 GB is usable. I have to uninstall some apps to make space for another app to be installed. I suggest that buying a new phone with at least 128GB of ROM is a better option simply because android 5 and above doesn't support SD card app transfer anymore. Reply

The P9 lite has the automatic file preservation function enabled which prevents any files to be permanently deleted for 30 days giving you a rare chance to recover the deleted files. This function is a real pain in the ars and that is the reason this is my last Huawei's phone.
